If you could restore one building in Birmingham, what would it be? Ramsey McCormick building, to help revitalize downtown Ensley

Favorite local restaurant: Niki’s West

Hometown: Kingston/Woodlawn area of Birmingham. “I am excited and happy to be reinvesting my everyday efforts to the community and area that I grow up in and around. I enjoy working with people that affect positive change in our communities. I have found a love for preservation and revitalization work and have discovered it has been a hidden passion.”

Other community work: Volunteer basketball coach, volunteer with Christian Service Mission, Faith Chapel Christian Center

Family: Married to Tange Silmon. Tyrone and Tange have an 18 year old son name Rodriquez and almost two year old daughter name Abigail.
